With B/Open, Veronafiere aims at the organic business segment in all its aspects, from natural self-care to organic food.
And it draws on its own experience as a direct organizer of trade shows for over 120 years, including some of the most well-known international brands in the agro-food sector, such as Vinitaly, Fieragricola and Sol&Agrifood, to propose a start-up aimed exclusively at producers, processors and trade professionals from large-scale retail, supermarket chains, retail stores, the Ho.Re.Ca. channel, speciality stores and herbalists, perfumeries, pharmacies and drug stores. « An event that looks at the entire production area of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe’s sales and consumption segment with an exhibition-oriented eye. And aims, through content, at providing business opportunities to trade professionals in a continually and constantly evolving sector that generates a turnover of 92 billion Euros globally. In this panorama, Italy, with a growth of 6.5% between 2017 and 2018, is one of the main producers with about 2 million organically-farmed hectares, holding second place in Europe», says Veronafiere’s Commercial Director, Flavio Innocenzi.
Organic agro-foods and bio and natural products for health and body-care
The Bio foods & Natural self-care trade show, sponsored from the start-up phase by AIAB (Italian Organic Farming Association), is scheduled to take place at Veronafiere from 22nd to 24th June 2020 and aims, from the exhibitor side, at producers and processers.
The Bio foods hall will be dedicated to certified organic agro-foods, while the Natural self-care hall will host the organic and natural products trade show for healthcare, well-being and body treatments.
More specifically, the organic food segment will also represent nutraceutical, dietetic and food supplement products as well as pet food, services, ecological packaging and ingredients for bio products. Well-being, beauty and personal care products will also include cosmetics, natural treatments, medicinal plants and derivates, products for health and body care, services.
The first exclusively b2b trade show
B/Open aims to be the first exclusively b2b trade show in Italy for Italian and foreign certified organic food and natural self-care trade professionals.
From the raw materials to the finished product and packaging, Veronafiere’s new show will include the entire supply chain, the result of an analysis of the trends and needs of an increasingly more attentive and aware consumer, and an accurate selection of exhibiting companies, purposefully studied to meet the needs of qualified buyers.
B/Open unites an interactive format with multiple networking and training moments, exclusively for producers, processors and trade professionals.
